Great ol’ Merica
Great ol’ Merica is a video installation where the audience members entered the space and got an abstract, deluted feeling of what it’s like to be African American in America. Before entering the space, each audience member was required to wear the black t-shirts offered outside the installation with the word “BLACK” on the back of each one. The viewers sat and watched a short clip showing how “great” America is while having sniper lasor lights aiming at them.
